About this fabric
The close-set weave builds rows of tiny diamond and zigzag motifs, with the blue threads giving the pattern a softly rhythmic, almost hand-worked appearance. Sapphire reads cool and muted here rather than intensely saturated, while the cream ground keeps the overall effect light. The compact textile surface has a subtle woven texture that adds depth as the light moves across it. With its dense-looking construction and small-scale pattern, this colourway is particularly well suited to upholstered pieces.
How to use it
Pair the cool sapphire-and-cream palette with chalky neutrals, pale timber and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme. It would also bring restrained pattern and colour to a reading chair, headboard or occasional seat.
