About this fabric

Made from 100% wool, this 137cm-wide fabric has a substantial woven character suited to both curtains and fixed upholstery. The check is built from broad slate-blue and muted lilac blocks, softened by grey, olive-grey and narrow warm lines that give the colourway depth rather than a high-contrast finish. The lightly brushed-looking surface catches the light unevenly, making some checks recede while the darker bands remain clearly defined. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, with dry-clean after-care.

How to use it

Use Southerness to bring a cool, quietly layered feel to a sitting room, study or country-inspired bedroom. Pair its slate blue and lilac checks with grey upholstery, pale timber and washed olive accents, or use it for curtains where the woven pattern can read across a larger drop.
