About this fabric

The medium-scale check combines broad rust and olive blocks with cream ground lines, fine charcoal accents and occasional burgundy stripes. Woven in 100% wool, the fabric has the substantial, softly textured look suited to both upholstery and curtains. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a Contract and General Domestic upholstery grade. Care is by dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Copinsay to bring warmth to a reading chair, sofa or window seat, balancing its rust and olive tones with aged timber, cream walls and deep brown leather. As curtains, its muted plaid can add colour and pattern without overwhelming a relaxed country or heritage room.

A warm, softly weathered wool plaid for relaxed upholstery, curtains and country-inspired interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
