About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this 137cm-wide fabric combines broad checks with slender overcheck lines, creating depth across its olive, mustard, navy, lilac and russet tones. The surface appears matte and lightly napped, while the darker blue and plum bands give the pattern definition against the warmer khaki ground. Rated for Contract and General Domestic use, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Barns Ness on a traditional armchair, bench or fixed seat where its olive and ochre base can anchor a room, then echo the cooler lilac and blue lines in cushions or painted joinery. It also makes characterful curtains when the full plaid is allowed to read across the width.
