About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, Flannan has a substantial textile character that suits both curtains and fixed upholstery. The checked design combines broad muted ochre blocks with narrow blue-grey, brown and russet lines, creating a measured plaid rather than a high-contrast check. Its softly irregular surface and matte finish keep the mustard tone grounded and natural, while subtle shifts in the weave prevent the colour from appearing flat. At approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for Contract and General Domestic applications and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Pair this ochre plaid with dark timber, aged leather and warm neutral upholstery for an earthy room scheme. Used at a window, its golden ground will add warmth while the cooler blue-grey lines provide definition.

Use the warm ochre ground to bring an earthy, gently rustic character to upholstered seating, curtains or loose covers.
