Torosay Soft Gold

Arcadia FabricLF1819

Torosay Soft Gold presents a pale, warm gold ground covered with densely repeated leafy floral sprays. Its ivory and muted-gold contrast gives the botanical pattern a softly powdered, low-key appearance.

About this fabric

The closely spaced floral forms create an ornate, damask-like surface, while the pale ground keeps the overall colourway light rather than strongly yellow. Subtle variation across the gold motifs gives the design a gently aged, tactile-looking depth in the swatch. Made from 20% linen and 80% viscose, this approximately 137cm-wide fabric is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and requires dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use Soft Gold to bring a warm, quietly decorative note to curtains or upholstered seating, especially alongside ivory, oatmeal and pale stone finishes. Its muted gold tone works well where a traditional botanical pattern is wanted without a bright metallic effect.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
