Beachcomber Fife Ness is a richly layered plaid woven in russet brown, deep plum, mustard yellow and dark olive tones. Its balanced checks and fine overcheck lines give the surface a traditional, softly textured character.

About this fabric

The medium-scale plaid combines warm terracotta and brown blocks with plum verticals, mustard bands and slim black-brown lines. The close-set woven construction gives the pattern depth, while the lighter mustard squares prevent the darker colour mix from feeling heavy. Made from 100% wool and approximately 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Fife Ness on a fireside chair, country sofa or full-length curtain where its russet and plum tones can sit against warm timber, aged leather and muted mustard accents. The mustard stripes also provide a useful bridge to ochre or antique-gold accessories.

Use this warm, characterful plaid to bring russet depth and mustard contrast to upholstery or curtains.
