Freya Slate

Freya FabricLF2134

Freya Slate has a cool, mineral-grey ground threaded with fine lighter and darker fibres. Its close, subtly irregular weave gives the colour a softly weathered depth rather than a flat charcoal appearance.

About this fabric

The dense semi-plain weave combines a slate-grey base with closely spaced pale threads, creating a restrained peppered texture that changes gently as the light moves across it. The composition is 30% linen, 19% wool, 19% polyester, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% nylon. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. Dry-clean aftercare applies.

How to use it

Use Freya Slate on a tailored sofa, dining chair or fixed seat where its cool grey depth can anchor warmer timber and natural stone. At the window, it will read as a quietly textured neutral rather than a stark black-grey.

A cool, finely textured slate weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and relaxed contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
