About this fabric

This woven fabric has a 330 gsm weight and 67 threads per cm, giving the design a substantial mid-weight presence for upholstery and drapery. Its 55 cm vertical by 35 cm horizontal repeat arranges stylised plants, undulating landforms and delicate contour-like lines into a gently rhythmic scene. The Mist colourway is notably cool and low-contrast, with blue-grey drawing that appears softened against the light ground rather than strongly saturated. At 138 cm usable width, it offers practical coverage while retaining the detail of the illustrated repeat.

How to use it

Pair the pale blue-grey tone with chalky whites, soft grey timber and washed natural textures for a quiet coastal or country scheme. It also works well on a statement armchair or relaxed curtains where the landscape repeat can be seen across the full width.

Use this cool misty blue-grey colourway to bring a light, softly illustrated landscape feel to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Falling Foss Weave Mist without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
