Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0140-02

Fringed Poppy Print Honey/Cornflower brings a light, airy botanical pattern to the collection, with delicate cornflower-blue and honey flowerheads scattered across a warm white ground. Fine green stems and small rounded leaves give the design a hand-drawn sense of movement.

About this fabric

The softly coloured pattern combines pale cornflower-blue fan-shaped blooms with warm honey-yellow flowers, olive-green stems and tiny leaves. Its 27cm vertical and 28cm horizontal repeats keep the motif lively without making the overall surface feel busy. At 252gsm and 138.5cm wide, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both drapery and lighter upholstery applications. The 38 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the printed surface a neat, close appearance, while the restrained palette keeps the colourway fresh rather than highly saturated.

How to use it

Pair this Honey/Cornflower colourway with warm white, pale timber and soft olive accents to emphasise its sunlit, garden-like character. It would work especially well as relaxed curtains or blinds, with cushions that pick out the muted blue and honey tones.

Use the pale ground and gentle honey-blue palette to bring a light, botanical feel to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
