Hayloft Embroidery Forest

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0141-03

Hayloft Embroidery Forest pairs a pale ivory ground with delicate, muted forest-green lines forming an airy diamond lattice. The green reads softly rather than heavily, giving the geometric embroidery a fresh, light-catching quality.

About this fabric

The visible design is formed from narrow, dotted green lines that intersect into repeated elongated diamonds across the ivory ground. At 242 gsm and 132 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its pattern repeat measures 25 cm vertically and 11 cm horizontally, keeping the lattice rhythm consistent across a length. The specified 35 threads per cm complement the neat, finely drawn appearance of the motif.

How to use it

Use this Forest colourway for relaxed curtains or blinds where the pale ground can brighten a room, or on cushions and occasional upholstery with warm timber and natural textures. Its softened green gives a calm botanical note without overwhelming the clean geometry.

Use the pale ivory-and-forest palette to bring a crisp, tailored feel to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hayloft Embroidery Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
