Forma Forest

Zanzibar Weaves FabricSCF0082-04

Forma Forest combines a cool, muted forest-green ground with a tightly repeated geometric motif picked out in pale sage-grey. The close-set weave gives the swatch a finely textured, quietly graphic appearance.

About this fabric

This 436gsm woven fabric has a dense field of tiny linked, angular motifs, with the deeper forest tone softened by pale sage-grey threads that catch the light across the surface. The pattern repeats every 4.6cm vertically and 35cm horizontally, creating a consistent small-scale rhythm rather than a bold, open design. With 90 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely constructed feel suited to upholstery. Its 137cm usable width and 35m standard length provide practical quantities for furnishing projects.

How to use it

Use the cool forest-green tone on an armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its small geometric repeat can add pattern without overwhelming the form. Pair it with pale timber, soft grey-green walls or warm neutral upholstery for a balanced contrast with the darker woven detail.

A dense, small-scale geometric weave in a cool muted forest green, well suited to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Forma Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
