About this fabric

This velvet has a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial 288 gsm weight, making it well suited to upholstery. The dark blue-teal background gives the colourway a cool, enveloping character, while coral and pink flowers provide vivid flashes of warmth. Cream, butter-yellow and turquoise blossoms add smaller points of light among the loose green stems and leaves. Its vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 68.5 cm, and the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Pair the midnight teal ground with warm timber, aged brass and coral or rust accents to draw out the flowers’ warmer notes. On a chair, bench or statement sofa, its dark floral depth can act as the room’s defining colour layer.

Use this richly coloured velvet to bring jewel-toned floral depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.
