About this fabric

The colourway is soft rather than strongly saturated: muted rose-red linework sits gently against the creamy ivory ground, giving the design a delicate, sun-faded character. The large-scale repeat includes groups of figures, spreading trees, countryside views and columned architectural details, with the fine print retaining plenty of open ground between scenes. The surface appears smooth and lightly handled rather than heavily textured, making the illustration the dominant feature. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm rose-and-ivory colourway for full-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or a feature upholstered chair in a traditional room. Balance the detailed toile with plain ivory, aged wood and muted rose accents rather than introducing another strong pattern.

A warm ivory toile with delicate rose-red pastoral scenes, especially suited to curtains and softly traditional interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
