Print Fabric

Holkham 45 combines a warm ivory ground with softly layered blue flowers, leaves and curling stems. The muted blue palette gives the dense floral arrangement a calm, time-softened character.

About this fabric

The design is filled with rosettes, open blooms, feathery leaves, small berries and scrolling botanical stems, creating a medium-scale pattern with plenty of detail. Its blue shifts from pale, washed denim to deeper slate around the petals and foliage, while touches of grey add definition without making the colourway feel stark. The warm ivory ground keeps the overall impression light and allows the floral forms to remain clearly visible. The surface shown has a softly textured printed-textile appearance; no composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

The gentle blue-and-ivory balance suits relaxed traditional curtains or blinds, and can be repeated on cushions against painted ivory, soft grey-blue or weathered timber. Use the darker blue foliage as an accent rather than introducing a brighter navy.

Use this softly toned blue-and-ivory floral for curtains, cushions or a traditionally styled upholstered piece.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
