Galdana Tumeric

Weave Fabric

Galdana Tumeric combines a vivid turmeric-gold yarn with ivory in a closely woven, repeating chevron structure. The warm shade and tactile zigzag surface give the colourway a lively, textural presence.

About this fabric

The fabric is defined by narrow angular bands that meet in successive V shapes across the face, creating a clear chevron rhythm. Turmeric gold dominates the ground, while the ivory yarns pick out the pattern and keep the overall effect bright rather than dense. The tightly packed weave has a visibly ridged, rope-like texture, with small highlights catching along the raised yarns. Its graphic pattern is softened by the irregularity and warmth of the woven surface.

How to use it

Pair this sunny turmeric colourway with warm timber, natural fibres and soft ivory furnishings, or use it on a statement chair where the chevron texture can be seen up close. Its directional pattern would also give plain curtains a subtle graphic lift.

Use this warm turmeric-and-ivory weave to bring graphic texture and sunny depth to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Galdana Tumeric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
