Monterosso - Rhubarb

Weave Fabric

Monterosso in Rhubarb is a densely woven textile alive with small, repeating geometric marks. Its rhubarb-red warmth is broken up with cream, mustard, orange, teal and green threads for a richly varied surface.

About this fabric

The close weave forms tiny stepped and zigzag-like motifs arranged in lively horizontal rows across the swatch. Rhubarb red and berry tones provide the strongest visual thread, while cream softens the ground and mustard, orange, teal and green flecks add a gently mottled, multicoloured depth. The compact, textured appearance gives this colourway enough visual presence to work across upholstery or drapery. No performance features or further specification data are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use the warm rhubarb-red tone on an accent chair, bench or relaxed curtain, then echo its cream and muted green threads through cushions, painted cabinetry or accessories.

Pair the rhubarb-red ground with warm creams, muted greens and natural timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
