Leila Ikat Leila Red

New Products Fabric

Leila Ikat Leila Red is shown here with a rich rust-red ground, softened by pale blue ikat forms and narrow washes of green. The blurred edges of the motif give the pattern a hand-drawn, woven feel.

About this fabric

Leila Ikat Leila Red is a fabric from Titley & Marr’s New Products collection, presented here as a textile fabric rather than wallpaper. The design reads as a bold ikat stripe, with repeated rust-red panels interrupted by pale blue teardrop motifs, chalky white outlines and slender green accents. The visible weave has a slightly slubbed, textured look that helps the colourway feel warm and softly distressed rather than crisp or glossy. With no performance features noted, it is best considered for decorative use where its layered red-and-blue palette can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to an upholstered accent chair or a tailored curtain in a room with neutral walls. Its rust-red base and cool blue motifs work especially well with timber tones, aged brass and muted green accessories.

The rust-red ground and pale blue ikat motif give this fabric an easy, lived-in energy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
