Botanical Wonders Fabric VelvetCCF0629-01

Menagerie Velvet Blush Velvet places intricate botanical medallions over a pale blush ground. Aqua, soft green, ochre and terracotta accents give the pattern a richly illustrated appearance while the velvet surface lends the colour gentle depth.

About this fabric

This 340gsm velvet shows repeating floral and leaf arrangements in aqua, sage green, muted ochre and warm terracotta, framed by curling botanical details. The blush-pink base keeps the densely drawn pattern light rather than dark, with the pile subtly softening the contrast between the coloured motifs. With a useable width of 138 cm, a 46 cm vertical repeat and a 37.5 cm horizontal repeat, the design is suited to carefully planned upholstery layouts. The standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use the soft blush ground on a buttoned chair, headboard or occasional sofa, pairing it with warm ivory and pale timber to draw out the gentle base colour. Aqua and sage accessories will pick up the cooler botanical details, while ochre or terracotta can add warmth.

Use this blush-ground velvet to bring a softly coloured, jewel-like botanical accent to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
