About this fabric

This 340gsm velvet combines a near-black ground with densely arranged pink, pale blue and sage botanical blooms, linked by fine curling stems and small leafy sprigs. The dark base gives the floral colours a softly illuminated quality, while the velvet surface adds subtle tonal variation as the light moves across it. With a usable width of 138 cm and a 42.5 cm vertical by 72 cm horizontal pattern repeat, the design has a clearly measured rhythm for upholstery planning. Its substantial 340gsm handle and richly patterned surface make this Noir colourway especially well suited to statement upholstery.

How to use it

Use Tonquin Velvet Noir on a statement armchair, ottoman or headboard, pairing its near-black depth with warm blush, sage and aged brass accents. Keep surrounding plains quiet so the cool blue and pink flowers remain the focus.
