Arundel Terracotta

Arundel Fabric

Arundel Terracotta brings a warm, weathered character to the Arundel collection, combining rust-red and clay tones with cream, olive and taupe. Its repeating geometric pattern has the visual rhythm of hand-worked ikat, softened by a textured woven surface.

About this fabric

The design is formed from stepped diamonds, angular chevrons and irregular vertical blocks, creating a medium-scale pattern with a distinctly artisanal feel. Muted terracotta and russet sit alongside mossy olive, taupe, brown and chalky cream, giving the colourway earthy depth rather than a bright or uniform red appearance. Visible slubs and broken edges in the weave add tactile variation, while the light ground keeps the densely patterned surface from feeling heavy. This versatile woven fabric can work across upholstery and drapery where a relaxed, textural geometric is wanted.

How to use it

Use Arundel Terracotta on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain, then draw out its olive and taupe notes with linen, timber and softly aged finishes. The warm clay tones are especially effective in rooms with cream walls and darker brown accents.

Pair the warm terracotta ground with natural wood, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
