Amatheon Fabric

Amatheon Pimpernel is a deep, dusky terracotta cloth with a smooth surface that takes on gentle highlights across its folds. Its warm rust-brown tone feels rich and enveloping rather than bright.

About this fabric

The image shows a plain fabric with no visible motif, its even surface softened by a subtle velvety nap. Draped folds reveal tonal shifts from muted terracotta to deeper russet-brown shadows, giving the colourway considerable depth. The cloth gathers into substantial, rounded creases, suggesting a dense handle well suited to upholstery. Its low-key lustre adds a polished finish without making the shade appear glossy.

How to use it

Pair this warm terracotta with dark timber, aged brass and creamy neutrals for a cosy, refined scheme. It is especially effective on a generously shaped sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard.

Use this warm, shadowed terracotta on a statement chair or sofa where its soft lustre can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
