Arundel Tapestry

Arundel Fabric

Arundel Tapestry brings a softly weathered palette of taupe, sage-grey, faded blue, cream and russet to a strongly graphic woven design. Its repeated diamond and stepped motifs create a layered, tapestry-like surface.

About this fabric

The warm taupe ground gives this colourway a gentle, aged feel rather than a crisp contemporary contrast. Angular diamond medallions are picked out in sage-grey and dusty blue, while russet-brown accents add depth around the central motifs. Creamy pale sections break up the pattern and allow the darker colours to read clearly across the repeat. The visible woven texture and substantial tapestry character make it especially well suited to upholstery where the pattern can become a focal point.

How to use it

Use this muted taupe colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa, pairing it with weathered wood, warm neutrals and aged brass. Echo the sage and faded blue details in plain cushions or painted cabinetry for a collected, quietly colourful scheme.

A richly coloured tapestry-style upholstery fabric with a weathered, decorative character suited to statement seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
