About this fabric

The surface is a dense, nubby weave with fine tonal flecking rather than a printed motif. Its olive base is softened by grey and brownish variation, creating a subdued, lichen-like depth instead of a bright green finish. Broad folds catch the light unevenly, bringing out the fabric’s gently pebbled texture and substantial appearance. This colourway reads as calm and earthy, with enough tonal movement to prevent the plain surface from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Brecon Olive on a reading chair, sofa or footstool where its muted olive-grey tone can sit alongside warm timber, stone and other natural neutrals. Its softly mottled texture also works well as a grounding upholstery fabric in a relaxed, layered scheme.

A substantial, tactile olive weave suited to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
