About this fabric

This colourway reads as a balanced taupe, warmer than a cool grey but restrained enough to sit comfortably with natural neutrals. Its close, pebbled nap catches the light softly, creating a gently mottled appearance rather than a flat block of colour. The substantial-looking surface holds rounded folds clearly in the photograph, reinforcing its suitability for upholstery. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Brecon Stone with warm ivory, oak and softly aged brass for a calm, grounded scheme. Its muted taupe tone also works well on a generously shaped chair or sofa where the tactile surface can be seen and felt.

Use this softly textured stone taupe to bring warmth and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
