Bruges Fabric

Bruges Oyster has a pale oyster surface that shifts between warm grey and muted taupe across the folds. Its fine woven texture gives the plain colour gentle visual movement without a printed motif.

About this fabric

The close, irregular basket weave is clearly visible in the swatch, creating a softly nubby surface with subtle tonal variation. In the deeper folds, the oyster shade reads slightly cooler and greyer, while raised areas catch the light as a lighter stone tone. The cloth appears supple enough to drape naturally, with a texture that also gives upholstery a relaxed, tactile character. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use Bruges Oyster to soften a room with pale stone walls, warm timber and layered ivory textiles. Its restrained taupe-grey depth works especially well on relaxed seating, cushions or full-length curtains where the weave can catch changing light.

The softly mottled oyster tone and tactile weave suit relaxed upholstery, cushions or gently gathered drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
