Cambridge Fabric

Cambridge Breeze is shown here in a pale, cool grey with a finely textured surface that falls into soft, fluid folds. Its quiet tonal variation gives the cloth a gently tactile appearance without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The surface has a close horizontal weave that creates delicate linear definition across the cool grey ground. In the draped areas, the fabric forms narrow, pliable folds, while the flatter sections show an even, lightly brushed-looking texture. The restrained colour reads as silvery grey in the highlights and slightly deeper grey where the folds overlap, giving this colourway a calm, understated depth.

How to use it

Use Cambridge Breeze for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds in rooms built around pale stone, chalky white and soft grey. Its cool silvery tone works particularly well where natural light can pick out the fine horizontal texture.

Use this pale cool-grey cloth for softly gathered curtains that retain a calm, airy feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
