About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and pale taupe, with a lightly weathered depth rather than a bright cream cast. Fine horizontal lines run through the weave, creating a restrained tactile surface that catches the light gently across the folds. Its supple drape makes it particularly suited to curtains and other flowing applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Cambridge Eggshell for full-length curtains in a calm, tonal room with pale oak, chalky walls and soft grey upholstery. Its greige tone can also quietly balance darker taupe or charcoal accents without becoming stark.

A softly muted greige with a fine ribbed texture and fluid movement, well suited to understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
