About this fabric

The close, even weave is clearly visible across the swatch, giving this fabric a subtly textured, textile-led appearance rather than a printed pattern. Its cool coal tone has notable depth, appearing almost black in the shaded folds and softer graphite across the exposed face. Catalogued as a fabric, it has a substantial-looking drape in the photograph that makes it especially convincing for upholstery. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Casual Coal on a modern sofa, armchair or footstool where its cool charcoal depth can anchor pale woods, concrete tones and softly contrasting grey textiles. Pair it with warm lighting or natural timber to prevent the near-black areas from feeling stark.
