About this fabric

The close-up image shows a substantial, plush-looking surface with a fine, irregular nap rather than a printed motif. Storm grey shifts between charcoal and softer graphite as the pile catches the light, giving the colour a muted, dimensional quality. The rounded folds also suggest a tactile, weighty cloth that is particularly suited to upholstered furniture. Its low-contrast appearance keeps the focus on texture and depth.

How to use it

Use Cecconi Storm on a generous sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its cool charcoal tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale timber, warm ivory and brushed metal to balance the shade without losing its soft, tactile character.

Use this cool, charcoal-grey upholstery to bring tactile depth and a quietly grounded feel to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
