About this fabric
The surface has a plush, nubby pile that resembles soft shearling, rather than a flat woven finish. Its chinchilla-grey colour sits between cool grey and muted taupe, with darker shading appearing in the folds and along the pile. Light catches the raised texture unevenly, creating a quietly dimensional effect without a printed motif. The substantial-looking handle and dense surface make it especially convincing on upholstered furniture where the texture can be seen up close.
How to use it
Use this cool chinchilla-grey on a sculptural armchair, deep sofa or upholstered headboard, then balance its plush texture with smooth stone, pale timber or brushed metal. It also works well as a soft grey foundation for deeper charcoal and muted mauve accents.
