About this fabric

Catalogued as a Velvet, Rumraisin is shown here in a deep brown shade with a subtle plum cast. The smooth surface shifts from near-black brown in the folds to warmer chocolate highlights where the light skims the cloth. Those tonal changes give this plain colourway a plush, dimensional presence without a visible motif.

How to use it

Use Rumraisin to bring warmth and depth to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, especially alongside tobacco leather, aged timber and muted cream. Its dark raisin tone also suits softly gathered cushions or panels where the changing light can reveal the velvet’s surface.
