About this fabric

The close, plain weave is visible across the swatch, with the changing direction of the folds creating gentle tonal shifts from pale ash to deeper grey-taupe. Light catches the raised ridges softly rather than producing shine, keeping the colour calm and matte. The cloth appears fine and fluid in the photograph, making it particularly suited to drapery. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Esperia Ash for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its warm grey-taupe tone can soften a room without adding a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and deeper mushroom shades to bring out the colour’s quiet depth.

The fine, fluid weave and softly draped handle make this muted ash tone well suited to curtains and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
