Halmstad Fabric

Halmstad Driftwood is a muted taupe woven fabric with the quiet, earthy character of weathered timber. Its finely grained surface shifts gently between beige, stone and soft brown as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The fabric has a compact, irregular weave with clearly visible horizontal and vertical threads, creating a small-scale crosshatch texture rather than a printed motif. Driftwood’s restrained taupe colouring is softly mottled, with darker thread flecks adding depth without making the surface look busy. The close-set construction gives the swatch a substantial, settled appearance that can work across upholstery and drapery. No composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Driftwood to bring warmth and texture to a neutral sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain, pairing its taupe-beige tone with chalky whites, natural timber and darker brown accents.

A softly textured taupe neutral for relaxed upholstery, curtains and layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
