Hancock Fabric

Hancock Sandstone is a softly mottled woven fabric with a warm greige base and subtle sandstone depth. Its close-up surface shows fine horizontal and vertical irregularities rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits between pale taupe, sand and softened stone, with lighter threads catching across the surface to create gentle tonal variation. A fine crosshatched weave gives the fabric a tactile, linen-like irregularity while remaining visually quiet. The visible construction is suitable for upholstery or drapery, and no performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Hancock Sandstone with chalky whites, warm oak and muted clay accents for a calm, natural scheme. Its warm greige tone can also soften darker timber or charcoal upholstery without introducing a strong colour contrast.

Use this warm greige-sandstone weave to bring understated texture to upholstered seating, cushions or softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
