About this fabric
The plain fabric has a lightly textured woven face rather than a visible motif, with fine tonal variation across the surface. Its cool charcoal shade becomes almost black in the deeper folds, while raised areas catch a muted grey light. The substantial-looking cloth is shown with enough body to hold sculptural drapery and suits upholstery particularly well. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.
How to use it
Use Thunder on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its cool charcoal depth can anchor lighter stone, chalk and warm timber tones. The softly uneven surface will add texture without introducing a pattern.
Use this deep charcoal tone to give upholstered seating a grounded, tactile finish.

Pairs well with
Heavy-Linen Thunder is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
