Highclere Hunter

Highclere Fabric

Highclere Hunter has the character of a detailed woodland tapestry, with spreading branches, foliage and pale blossoms layered across a softened taupe ground. Its hunter-green foliage is muted rather than bright, giving the colourway a calm, aged quality.

About this fabric

Supplied as a fabric, Highclere Hunter features a dense scenic arrangement of trees, leafy branches and cream-coloured flowers. The background reads as warm stone taupe, while sage, hunter green, blue-grey and brown foliage create depth across the surface. Fine woven texture is visible throughout, helping the pale florals and darker branches retain a tactile, tapestry-like appearance. The extensive motif and subdued palette give this colourway a formal, traditional presence on upholstery.

How to use it

Use Highclere Hunter on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa, where its taupe ground can sit comfortably with warm timber and its deeper green foliage can be picked out in cushions or trim.

Pair the soft taupe ground with warm wood, natural linen and deeper green accents for a traditional scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
