Jaeger Clay

Jaeger Fabric

Jaeger Clay has a warm, muted clay tone that shifts gently across the softly folded surface. Its fine woven texture adds quiet depth without introducing a visible printed motif.

About this fabric

The fabric is shown in a dense, fine crosshatch weave, giving the surface a lightly tactile, even grain. Its clay colouring sits between warm terracotta and softened tan, with darker shading appearing where the folds turn away from the light. Broad diagonal folds show that the cloth has enough body to hold fluid drape while retaining a composed surface. The understated texture makes this colourway feel relaxed and earthy rather than highly formal.

How to use it

Use Jaeger Clay on an upholstered chair, sofa or relaxed curtain where its warm terracotta-tan tone can bring depth to cream, oatmeal and natural wood schemes.

Pair this warm clay weave with natural timber, soft neutrals and aged brass for an earthy interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
