About this fabric

The surface shows a small-scale, irregular checked weave rather than a printed motif, with brick-red threads interlaced through taupe, brown and darker charcoal lines. Its softly ridged texture catches the light across the folds, making the colour appear deeper in the creases and warmer on raised areas. The muted, earthen palette gives Ghent Brick a smart but grounded character, with more nuance than a flat red fabric. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway, so those details should be confirmed before ordering for a particular application.

How to use it

Pair the muted brick tone with tobacco leather, warm timber and soft taupe upholstery for an enveloping scheme. Used at a window, its fine checked surface would add quiet pattern without competing with stronger furnishings.

Use this warm brick weave to bring depth to seating, cushions or softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
