About this fabric

The close weave is finely slubbed, with delicate horizontal and vertical variation visible across the surface rather than a printed motif. Its muted taupe tone sits between warm beige and gentle grey, giving the fabric a softened, natural appearance. Light catches the raised threads along the folds, while the recessed areas read slightly deeper and more shaded. The fluid way the swatch falls makes this colourway particularly convincing as a relaxed drapery cloth.

How to use it

Use Kos Flax at full length in a softly lit room where its warm taupe tone can sit alongside pale timber, chalky walls and layered neutral upholstery. Its understated woven texture also suits relaxed Roman blinds or simple, unlined curtains.

A softly textured taupe cloth with an easy, fluid drape for calm, natural interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
