About this fabric

The Papyrus colourway sits between soft taupe and warm grey, with a light, chalky depth rather than a strong beige cast. A fine, closely woven texture is visible across the flatter areas of the swatch, while the folds show the cloth’s supple movement. Its plain construction keeps the look calm and understated, allowing the shifting shadows in the drape to add definition. This is a light-looking fabric that reads naturally in flowing curtain lengths and other relaxed window treatments.

How to use it

Use Loire Papyrus for full-length curtains where its pale warm-greige tone can soften a room without introducing a distinct colour accent. Pair it with natural timber, chalky whites and muted taupes to echo the swatch’s quiet tonal character.

A softly neutral, fluid cloth suited to curtains and understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
