Loire Milk

Loire Fabric

Loire Milk is a pale, creamy ivory textile with a quiet plain weave and a softly fluid handle visible in the gathered folds. Its near-white tone reads warm and gentle rather than stark.

About this fabric

The surface appears evenly woven, with a fine texture that becomes more visible where the cloth curves and catches the light. There is no visible motif or repeat, allowing the milk-ivory colour to remain the defining feature. In the photograph, the fabric falls into supple folds with a lightweight, flowing appearance suited to drapery. Subtle shifts between warm ivory highlights and cooler shaded creases give this colourway a soft sense of depth.

How to use it

Use Loire Milk for full-length curtains, sheers or relaxed Roman blinds where its warm ivory tone can brighten a room without the sharper contrast of pure white. Pair it with pale timber, chalky finishes and softly contrasting natural textures.

The soft milk-ivory tone and fluid folds make this an understated choice for airy curtains and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
