About this fabric

The close, even weave gives this colourway a delicate crosshatched texture that remains subtle across the swatch. Its ash-grey tone is muted rather than stark, with a slightly cool cast that becomes more apparent in the lighter open areas. The gathered folds show the fabric’s fluid movement, while the recessed creases create gentle depth without introducing a pattern. The surface reads calm and understated, making the tonal changes caused by draping an important part of its character.

How to use it

Pair Loire Ash with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey furnishings for a light, quiet scheme. Its cool ash tone also works well as a restrained backdrop to deeper charcoal or blue-grey accents.

Use this cool ash-grey cloth for softly gathered curtains or relaxed blinds where its fine weave can catch gentle changes in light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
