About this fabric

This colourway sits between warm grey and soft brown, giving the surface a quietly earthy character rather than a bright beige appearance. The closely woven texture is fine and understated, while the folded edges catch slightly lighter highlights against the deeper taupe shadows. Its fluid fall makes it particularly well suited to relaxed curtains, Roman blinds and other softly gathered window treatments. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the mushroom taupe at full window height alongside chalky whites, warm greys and pale timber for a calm, layered scheme. Its restrained colour also works well as a quiet backdrop to darker wood or brushed metal accents.

A softly textured mushroom taupe with an easy drape for calm, understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
