About this fabric

The close, fine weave gives this plain fabric a softly tactile surface rather than a completely flat finish. Its pumice colouring sits between warm beige and cool grey, with the changing light across the folds bringing out understated tonal depth. The visible cloth has enough body to hold broad folds while remaining fluid, making it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use Manhattan Pumice to soften a room built around chalky whites, natural timber and stone, or pair it with deeper grey-brown accents for contrast. Its muted taupe-grey tone works especially well where a calm, textured neutral is wanted on seating or full-length curtains.

Its softly mottled taupe-grey surface brings quiet texture to seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
