Njord Cream

Njord Cream has a warm ivory tone and an unusually tactile, plush surface. The folded swatch shows a dense raised pile whose soft nap creates subtle shifts between cream and shaded beige.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, Njord Cream is shown here as a heavy-looking textile with a dense, fur-like pile and a softly irregular surface. Its warm ivory colour is gentler than stark white, with beige shading appearing where the pile changes direction. The close, tactile texture gives this colourway a luxurious, enveloping presence on upholstered furniture. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair the warm ivory tone with natural timber, muted taupe and softly aged brass for a calm, tactile room. Its plush surface is especially suited to statement occasional chairs, ottomans and cushions.

Use this warm ivory plush texture to bring softness and quiet luxury to upholstered seating or cushions.

Pairs well with

Njord Cream is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
