Ordos Fabric

Ordos Ivory presents a warm ivory ground crossed by flowing, irregular striations that resemble softly rippling lines. In the photograph, the fabric catches the light differently across its folds, giving the pale colour gentle depth.

About this fabric

The design is built from broad, vertical-to-diagonal waves in closely related ivory and taupe tones, rather than a high-contrast printed motif. Its subtly raised, brushed-looking surface creates fine highlights along the ridges, while the recessed areas appear slightly warmer and deeper. The cloth is shown falling into soft folds, making its fluid drape especially apparent. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Ordos Ivory for full-length curtains where its warm, low-contrast waves can soften daylight without introducing a strong colour statement. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale taupe and natural timber to draw out the fabric’s quietly dimensional surface.

A softly folded, flowing textile suited to curtains and calm, light-toned interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
