About this fabric

The fabric has a fine, regular micro-weave that creates subtle tonal depth rather than a visible motif. Its slate-grey colour reads cool and muted, with the folds moving between soft silver-grey highlights and deeper graphite shadows. The surface appears low-sheen and finely textured, allowing the structured weave to remain visible without becoming busy. The cloth falls naturally in the photograph, giving this colourway a polished yet understated character.

How to use it

Use Oxford Cloud to bring a calm, cool grey foundation to a room, pairing it with pale timber, chalky walls or brushed metal. Its restrained tone works particularly well on tailored seating, simple curtains or layered cushions.

The cool slate-grey tone suits tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains and contemporary cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
