Saga Fabric

Saga Sorrel is shown here in a warm sorrel-brown tone, with a softly mottled woven face and a naturally rumpled drape. Its close, pebbled texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The fabric reads as a cocoa-brown shade with subtle taupe warmth, changing gently between the raised and shadowed areas of the folds. A fine irregular grid is visible across the surface, creating a tactile, lightly pebbled appearance. The substantial-looking weave holds sculptural folds in the photograph, making this colourway read as an upholstery cloth rather than a fine, fluid curtain textile. Its muted brown depth gives the Sorrel colourway a calm, grounded presence.

How to use it

Use Saga Sorrel on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its warm brown tone can anchor a room without appearing stark. Pair the textured surface with natural timber, muted taupes and softly contrasting cream textiles.

A warm, tactile brown with a fine woven surface that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
