About this fabric

The colour reads as a warm, softened charcoal rather than a flat black, with fine brown undertones visible across the surface. A small irregular weave gives the fabric a gently nubby, tactile appearance without a visible printed motif. The dense-looking cloth holds pronounced folds, creating alternating bands of shadow and muted highlights. Its understated texture gives this dark colourway a smart, grounded presence.

How to use it

Use Saga Caviar on a structured chair, sofa or ottoman where its deep charcoal-brown tone can provide a strong anchor. Balance the dark woven surface with warm wood, aged brass or lighter neutral cushions.

Use the deep charcoal-brown tone to anchor upholstery alongside warm timber, leather and softly coloured textiles.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
